JOHANNESBURG- The Hawks in Gauteng have killed three suspected hijackers in a shootout in Crystal Park, Benoni.
Police said they were following up on information about hijackings in the area.
It's alleged that the suspects had just kidnapped a woman after hijacking her car.

A high speed chase followed and the suspects opened fire on police after crashing their car.
All three suspects were killed and the victim was rescued unharmed.
Police recovered two firearms at the scene.
