GQEBERHA - Police in Gqeberha have seized drugs worth an estimated R2-million during a major operation in the Cotswold area.
Members of the South African Police Service’s Mount Road unit recovered crack cocaine, crystal meth, and large quantities of compressed dagga during a late-night raid on Wednesday.
Authorities say the operation was launched after a tip-off from a private security company.
However, the suspect managed to flee the scene before being arrested.
A vehicle believed to be linked to the suspect has since been impounded, while police continue to search for those responsible.
Investigations are ongoing, and officers say more arrests cannot be ruled out.
