Tshegofatso Mothobi's mother pleads for her safe return

JOHANNESBURG - The family of missing student Tshegofatso Mothobi is hopeful she will be found unharmed.

Her mother Emma Mothobi believes the 21-year-old may have been lured by online predators.

Her disappearance comes days after the body of Wits student Olorato Mongale was dumped near Sandton, hours after she went on a date with her alleged killer.

Crime experts are urging women to be vigilant when meeting online strangers in person.

Police say no suspects have been identified as yet, but investigations are continuing.
