PRETORIA - It has been a frustrating and far from festive season for some Tshwane residents.
This is due to ongoing power outages that has left some areas in the dark.

City officials say the problem stems from cable theft at the Olievenhoutbosch substation.
It's affecting the surrounding suburbs of Thatchfield, Highveld, Eco Park, Kosmosdal and Louwlardia.
