Two new charges added as Mugabe’s son, co-accused back in court

JOHANNESBURG - Bellermine Mugabe and Tobias Matonhodze will face two new charges on Thursday when they return to the Alexandra magistrate's court.

The son of former Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe and his co-accused already faced charges of attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice and unlawful firearm possession.

Prosecutors have now added two counts of pointing a firearm and contravening the Immigration Act.

The charges stem from an alleged altercation inside Mugabe’s home in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.
