JOHANNESBURG - Police have arrested two suspected robbers and hijackers in Devon in Gauteng.
They are believed to be behind several robberies and hijackings in Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
Police acted on intelligence to track the suspects to Devon.
They were arrested in Leslie after a car chase.
Officers found an unlicensed firearm, bullets, blue lights and EMPD and SAPS police uniforms in their vehicle.
The suspects allegedly disguised themselves as police officers to commit robberies and hijackings.
The 32 and 41-year-olds are expected to appear in court soon.
