JOHANNESBURG - In the latest development in the Olorato Mongale case, police have taken the parents of one of the murder suspects into custody.
Police say the father is the owner of the VW Polo used in the commission of the crime, and the mother is believed to have tipped off her son that police were looking for him.
This action by the mother enabled the suspect to evade arrest on Thursday.
Police say when they arrived in Inanda, where he stays, he had already left.
