PRETORIA - Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi has been denied bail yet again.
Mogotsi made a brief appearance in the Johannesburg magistrate's court on Monday.
The case has been postponed to 8 July for a trial date. The magistrate found Mogotsi failed to provide new facts on why he should be granted bail.
The North West businessman who is accused of staging his own assassination attempt last year, was previously denied bail after being deemed a flight risk.
He was also facing serious allegations that he intimidated a state witness while in custody.
Prosecutor Thami Mpekana alleged Mogotsi used his wife to help him contact state witness Thandiwe Senokwane from prison.
