JOHANNESBURG - The pre-trial hearing of alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi has been postponed to 3 August for consultation.
Mogotsi made a brief appearance at the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. He remains in custody.
The North West businessman faces charges of perjury and defeating the ends of justice.
They stem from an alleged shootout the State claims he staged. He was arrested in May shortly after concluding his testimony at the Madlanga Commission.
He was denied bail and labelled a flight risk due to contradictions over his home address.
His second attempt at bail was also denied.
