JOHANNESBURG - The case against former SAPS Special Task Force member Matipandile Sotheni has been postponed for mapping and plotting of his cellphone.
Sotheni, who is charged with the Madlanga Commission Witness D, Marius 'Vlam' van der Merwe appeared before the Brakpan Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
The case has been postponed to 9 September. The state said it was done with the tracker reports and downloads of cellphone data.

Sotheni was previously denied bail by the Brakpan Magistrate's Court after being deemed a flight risk.
He faces 16 charges, including murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and theft.
Sotheni has denied the allegations.
