PRETORIA - The high-profile case involving alleged crime boss Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala has been postponed to 13 May.
The State has asked the magistrate to order that Matlala stay at Kgosi Mampuru Prison until 13 May.
The matter involves five accused facing 25 charges, including money laundering and multiple counts of attempted murder.
At the last court appearance, proceedings were adjourned to allow the State more time to respond to outstanding defence submissions.
Prosecutors said they are still considering fresh representations linked to accused number five, while defence teams insist key documents have not been fully disclosed, stalling progress toward a pre-trial hearing.
