PRETORIA - The case against suspended National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola has been postponed to 28 August.
The state wants to amend the charges Masemola and his co-accused face.
Masemola and 13 others appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday. This comes a day after businessman Vusumuzi "Cat" Matlala was separated from the top cops after pleading guilty and agreeing to turn state witness.
The cops are charged in connection with the controversial R228-million Medicare24 tender.
Masemola faces four counts of contravening the Public Finance Management Act.
