JOHANNESBURG - The pre-trial hearing of Vusimusi 'Cat' Matlala and his co-accused, including his wife Tsakane, has been postponed.
Proceedings will resume on 6 February for an update on whether Matlala can be held in Gauteng.
The controversial businessman faces several counts of attempted murder.
These include high-profile cases, including ordering a hit on his former girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane.

The matter was moved to the High Court in Johannesburg after the cases were centralised.
The alleged "Big Five" cartel member has appointed a new legal team.
Matlala is being held at the eBongweni Supermax Correctional Centre in Kokstad.
