JOHANNESBURG - The bail bid of DJ Warras' alleged killer has been postponed to next Tuesday.

This was heard when murder accused Victor Majola  made a brief second court appearance at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.

The 44-year-old faces charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder

Warrick Stock was gunned down in broad daylight in the Johannesburg inner city on 16 December.

His family was in attendance, and his sister Nicole Stock said it was a shock.

"We have to see what the outcome is going to be. I never expected it to be short and quick."

Nicole said the first Christmas without her brother was felt.

"It's real, it's now becoming more real. The void is real," she said.

Murder accused Victor Majola’s attorney insists the state’s case is weak

He argues that prosecutors have no firm evidence against his client.

Meanwhile, outside court activists demanded the city be held accountable for hijacked CBD buildings.

Rehabilitating these buildings was the very work Warras was doing when he was gunned down.
