JOHANNESBURG - Former acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane has lost his bid to have his job back.
Phahlane was fired for unlawful conduct in a forensic cameras tender dating back to 2014.
The former top cop has been fighting for reinstatement since 2020.

His battle for reinstatement suffered defeats at the high court and labour court and had now approached the labour appeal court.
Phahlane recently appeared before the SAPS Ad Hoc Committee.
He argues that his disciplinary hearing was unfair.
