JOHANNESBURG - Thousands of commuters are stranded as Rea Vaya continues the suspension of its bus services in Soweto.
It said on Tuesday operations would resume with heightened security, but a notice on Wednesday morning announced it remains suspended.
Operations were halted after two bus drivers were shot dead.
While the motive is still unclear, police believe it may be linked to an ongoing dispute with taxi operators.
The bus service says a law enforcement plan is in place to secure drivers, the busses and passengers.
