PRETORIA - Three suspects linked to the murder of a e-hailing driver in Pretoria West have elected to abandon their bail bid.
Dikeledi Mphela (25), Gotseone Machidi (26) and McClaren Mushwana (30) appeared before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday in connection with the murder of Isaac David Satlat (22) last Wednesday, 11 February.
They face hijacking and murder charges.
Satlat was strangled to death. His body and car were recovered in Atteridgeville on the day of his murder.

The three suspects told the court that they would not be applying for bail. The matter was postponed to 23 February for further investigations. All three will remain in custody.
Mphela was arrested on Friday after she handed herself over to the police. Machidi and Mushwana were arrested at the weekend.
Police have launched a manhunt for a fourth suspect.
