Volvo SA recalls 372 EX30 vehicles

JOHANNESBURG - Volvo has notified Gauteng customers of a recall of EX30 vehicles.

It concerns the single-motor extended range and twin-motor performance models from 2024 to 2026.

These vehicles were sold on the 29 December last year.

Volvo says the recall is due to potential overheating of the high voltage battery in rare cases.

This could pose a fire risk.

It's advising owners of these vehicles not to exceed the 70% maximum charge level, until the situation is resolved.

Owners are urged to arrange for necessary inspections and repairs as soon as possible.

An authorised dealership will perform all corrective work without cost to the consumer.
