Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala
JOHANNESBURG - Alleged Big 5 cartel member Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala will know his fate in his bid for freedom.
The High Court in Johannesburg will make a ruling on his bail appeal.
The tenderpreneur is accused of ordering a hit on his ex-girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane, in 2023.
He's also been heavily implicated in police interference and in the R2-billion looting of Tembisa Hospital.
Matlala appealed in the high court after the Alexandra magistrate’s court denied him bail.
