PRETORIA - Key state witness Constable Sizwe Zungu's father denies making a statement implicating two of the accused, instead claiming his son colluded with an investigator to falsely link them to the murder.
Absalom Zungu is the second defence witness to take the stand, following accused number one, Muzi Sibiya’s month-long testimony.
He claims his son, Sizwe, conspired with lead investigator, Bongani Gininda, to falsely link Sibiya and accused number two, Bongani Ntanzi, to the killing.
His evidence-in-chief continues on Thursday.
