PRETORIA - The much-anticipated Madlanga Commission probing the alleged rot in the criminal justice system begins.
President Cyril Ramaphosa established the inquiry after KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's damning claims.
He claimed criminal infiltration, corruption, and political interference in the criminal justice system.
Mkhwanazi has implicated top police officials and government ministers in organised crime.
The commission, led by former acting Deputy Chief Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, will probe these allegations.
