PRETORIA - Police Minister Senzo Mchunu takes the hot seat at the Madlanga Commission.
Mchunu was placed on special leave following KZN top cop Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's explosive briefing.
He made claims of a slew of malfeasance within the police.
Mchunu's been linked to controversial figures such as Vusimuzi 'CAT' Matlala and Brown Mogotsi.

A witness testified that Matalala had been approached to fund Mchunu's ANC presidential ambitions.
He has also been criticized for this directive to disband the Political Killings Task Team.
However, the Minister is defending his actions, stating that he never overstepped his powers.
