Wildfires break out in Jonkersdam.
CAPE TOWN - Cape Town firefighters are battling wildfires in the Jonkersdam area of Table Mountain National Park.
Residents in nearby areas are urged to stay alert and obey emergency services.
The South African National Parks (SANParks) says over 60 ground crew firefighters and vehicles from SANParks, the City of Cape Town, Newlands Working on Fire, Provincial Disaster Management, and the Volunteer Wildfire Services are on the scene.
