Zimbabwe measles outbreak | 38 cases recorded

HARARE - Zimbabwe is facing a new measles outbreak.

The country's Health Ministry says 38 measles cases have been recorded countrywide.

As yet, no deaths have been recorded.

Measles is a contagious disease that hits children hardest.

Health experts say that while Zimbabwe has dealt well with measles outbreaks in the past, authorities need to more effectively target religious groups that don't believe in modern medicine.
