CAPE TOWN - Although rainfall in the Western Cape over the past weeks has filled dams to capacity, residents are concerned about the province's long-term plans for water security.

Between 2015 and 2018, Cape Town faced one of the worst-ever droughts which took the city to the brink of “day zero,” the point when Cape Town runs out of water.
