Olorato Mongale murder highlights continued brutality against women

BLOEMFONTEIN - An estimated 11 women are murdered in South Africa each day. That's about one woman killed every two hours.

One of those women was 30-year-old Olorato Mongale, who was murdered while out on a date.

Mongale's body was found near Lombardy West, north of Joburg, after she went on a date with her alleged killer.
