SASSA implements fraud-prevention strategy

JOHANNESBURG - Fraudsters are targeting the most vulnerable in South Africa by stealing the R350 grant they rely on to live.

The Social Relief of Distress Grant was implemented during Covid and is paid out monthly to between 7.5 and 8.5 million South Africans.
