WATCH | Thousands of officers implicated in criminal activities still employed by SAPS

JOHANNESBURG - Over 3,900  police officers implicated in criminal activities are still employed by the SAPS.

This was announced by Police Minister Bheki Cele in Parliament.

Some of the criminal charges include murder, rape, attempted murder, kidnapping and perjury.

Police and Crime Experts say this must urgently be looked into.
