JOHANNESBURG - UDM leader Bantu Holomisa says South Africa is in crisis.

He's urging South Africans to give his party a chance to undo the failings of the ANC.

He was speaking in Midrand where he launched his party's manifesto ahead of the elections on May 29.

"Corruption destroys our freedom," he told delegates.

The party said it's not threatened by new parties.

The party was founded in 1997 and well over 20 years later, it only has two seats in Parliament.

Deputy UDM President Nqabayomzi Kwankwa said the party is working hard to grow in this next election.
