2024 Elections | IEC to give update on elections timetable

JOHANNESBURG - With voting date fast approaching, the Independent Electoral Commission will today brief the media on key aspects of the elections timetable.

The briefing is expected to cover special vote applications, the list of voting stations, notification to vote out of country, and a breakdown of candidates contesting elections on the 29th of May.  

The IEC is also challenging the Electoral Court’s decision to allow former president Jacob Zuma to contest elections.
