2024 elections | Maimane takes his election campaign to eThekwini

DURBAN - eThekwini residents have described the latest electricity price hike as ridiculous.

Build One SA leader Mmusi Maimane, on a campaign trail there, joined the community of Wentworth, south of Durban, to protest the spiralling cost of living.

The metro has been battling ongoing poor service delivery, with some ratepayers associations even threatening to withhold rates and taxes.
