DURBAN - Corruption-accused Zandile Gumede is back doing political work despite the ANC's step-aside policy.

A political heavyweight in eThekwini, Gumede's been roped in to mitigate her party's political woes.

Her comeback has raised eyebrows about double standards and criticism the ANC is not serious about fighting corruption.

But, both Gumede and the ANC have dismissed the criticism.
