JOHANNESBURG - As the 2024 matric examinations approach, concerns about marker shortages have surfaced across different assessment bodies.
While Umalusi oversees the examination processes, it's the various assessment bodies -- particularly the Department of Basic Education -- that are actively seeking markers.
Otherwise, preparations for the final matric exams are well on track.
Umalusi CEO Dr Mafu Rakometsi said there are contigency measures in place.
