8-year-old drowns in Pietermaritzburg

DURBAN - A family is desperately searching for their 8-year-old child after she reportedly drowned in a river on Thursday in Pietermaritzburg.

On Friday, rescue teams attempted to search for the child's body but called it off because of the high water levels.
