JOHANNESBURG - Political tensions in the coalition governing the Joburg Metro have claimed another casualty.
ActionSA's regional leader in the city Nobuhle Mthembu, has resigned from the party with immediate effect.
Her decision comes just weeks after being ousted as speaker in a motion of no confidence backed by the ANC.
Mthembu blames her party's internal dynamics, lack of transparency and limited space for open dialogue, for her resignation.
- She spoke to eNCA's Kendal Makgamatha.
