CAPE TOWN - Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee is eyeing a comprehensive review of the SAPS Act.
ActionSA has proposed an overhaul of the Act as part of the Committee’s deliberations.
Part of the proposal included the tabling of all ministerial directives on SAPS policy and operational matters before Parliament.

The Committee concluded that only specific directives should be tabled and not all.
MPs are working their way through the final pages of their draft report, before concluding their work by 30 October.
