JOHANNESBURG - Questions have surfaced over a missing prosecution docket once in the NPA’s possession.
The commission wants to know how a case managed by multiple officials could simply vanish without explanation.
The enquiry is probing the collapse of the Cato Manor racketeering case and examining the conduct of suspended South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions, Andrew Chauke.
On Friday, Chauke was back in the hot seat.
The Enquiry heard about several instances where either dockets were missing or reports which had information deliberately omitted from them.
