Alleged killer harasses mother from behind bars

JOHANNESBURG - Narisha Nuncoo's life was turned upside down when her son, Asheek Singh, was killed last June.

But now she's being harassed by her son's alleged killer from behind bars.

Nuncoo lives in fear of her phone ringing, as the call may be from Sun City prison.

The suspect was granted bail for Singh's murder, but is now behind bars for a separate matter.

Correctional Services said it's investigating the matter.

The case heads back to court in March, and for Nuncoo, that means at least another seven months of living in fear of her own cellphone.
