Amstel promises new stadium experience at Orlando Amstel Arena

JOHANNESBURG - Beer company, Amstel, has promised a better fan experience at the football ground formerly known as Orlando Stadium.

The iconic home of Orlando Pirates has also been given a makeover following a five-year partnership with Amstel.

The stadium was renamed to Orlando Amstel Arena on Tuesday during a glitzy ceremony.

The stadium has been the primary venue of the Bucanners since the 2010 FIFA World Cup and a historical venue of the club since it opened its doors over 59-years ago.

New branded seats have been installed at the stadium.

“As we go through the stadium tour, we will see new touch points, in terms of branding and so forth, but we have also looked to see where we can revamp the seating, it's not going to happen all at once but it's a commitment for us to work with Stadium Management to continue to build and enhance the experience for the fan," said Heineken Beverages Head of Category.
