GABORONE - The ANC describes the passing of Sam Nujoma as the end of an era.
Nujoma led Namibia to independence from apartheid South Africa in 1990 and became its first democratically elected president.
The former president died in a Windhoek hospital on Saturday evening, after being hospitalised for medical observation and treatment due to ill health.
The ANC's First Deputy Secretary General Nomvula Mokonyane spoke to eNCA.
