Malatjie was speaking during a media briefing on Monday.

"The days of exploitation, the days of young people being moved out of corridors of power are over. We are going to a youth conference, we are going to elections and we are very clear, we are not going to accept any less than 50% of young people in Parliament and legislature," he said.

"Parliament is not a retirement village. We are going to use, the 50% of the old that will remain then we will use them for wisdom."
