Anti-gang unit descends on Manenberg

CAPE TOWN - The anti-gang and metal theft units descended on Manenberg on Tuesday evening.

The area is notorious for gang activity and gun violence.

Fed-up community members are calling on authorities to deploy more boots on the ground.

Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis, and safety and security MMC, JP Smith, joined the operation.
