JOHANNESBURG - South Africa’s past is once again under the spotlight.
The Justice and Constitutional Development Minister has approved a joint inquest into the deaths of five young boys Apartheid-era soldiers brutally killed in 1993.
The victims, aged between 12 and 17, were gunned down inside a house in Mthatha, in what the then SADF claimed was a raid on PAC-linked fighters.
Over three decades later, the National Prosecuting Authority says it is determined to uncover the truth and provide long-overdue closure for the families.
Luxolo Tyali, Eastern Cape NPA spokesperson, discussed this with eNCA.
