DURBAN - Many people are feeling the burden of the current economic climate, but it seems more are taking their frustration out on those near them.
The latest police data shows road rage, neighbourly disputes and fights between family members or friends are driving up contact crime.
Police are worried that petty issues escalate to violent assaults, taking needed resources away from serious crimes.
They are appealing to residents to be more tolerant and to adopt more peaceful measures to resolve conflicts.
