JOHANNESBURG - The first set of regulations under the Basic Education Laws Amendment Act,
have been published for public comment.
These draft regulations deal with school admissions, language policy and capacity, key issues that have sparked significant public interest.

Parents, schools and the broader education community now have 30 days,
to submit their views.
The BELA Act became law in September last year.
