Calls to exempt hospitals from blackouts

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom's rolling blackouts could claim lives.

The South African Medical Association says vulnerable patients in hospitals are at risk.

It's calling on government to spare hospitals from scheduled power cuts.

It says those in Intensive Care Units and babies in incubators are most at risk.
