Cape Town ganglands | Schoolgirl killed in gang crossfire

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police have launched a manhunt following the death of a 16-year-old Grade 11 pupil.

Zamawushe Momoti was hit by a stray bullet on Friday in a gang shootout in Athlone.

She died on the grounds of Belgravia High School as she was running for cover.

Her distraught family is demanding justice for the teen, who they describe as a sweet and loving child.

The police say they are investigating and no arrests have been made.
