Kilian says lawyer told him to lie
CAPE TOWN - Zane Kilian says his first lawyer warned him that if he told the truth about the killing of anti-gang unit detective, Charl Kinnear, he might as well pick out coffins for him and his family.
Kilian stands accused of pinging Kinnear’s phone 2,400 times in 2020 to determine his whereabouts.

He says he did this on the instructions of co-accused Nafiz Modack.
They and 13 others are accused of murder and attempted murder, among other charges
