Cape Town residents call for swifter leak repair

City bosses say an increasing population places extra pressure on water demand, while ageing infrastructure adds to the problems.

The City of  Cape Town's Water and Sanitation Department has achieved 94.1 percent capital spend of its R3.7 billion budget for the 2024/2025 financial year.
