Cilliers Brink elected Tshwane Mayor

TSHWANE - Democratic Alliance councillor Cilliers Brink has been elected the City of Tshwane's new executive mayor.

Brink received 109 votes while COPE councillor Ofentse Moalusi garnered 102 votes.

The Metro has been without a leader since former mayor Murunwa Makwarela was busted for falsifying an insolvency rehabilitation certificate.
